About Mrs. Aldrich...
This is Mrs. Aldrich's 7th year at Pointers Run. Mrs. Aldrich came to Pointers Run after spending 5 years home with her children, Ben and Abby. Prior to her child rearing leave, she taught orchestra for over 10 years in the Howard County Public School System, co-directed the Howard County Elementary Gifted and Talented Orchestra and maintained a private violin and viola studio. She has also served as an adjudicator for solo and ensemble festival in several counties and judged all state orchestra. She has a B.M. and M.M from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and previously served as the assistant principal violist of the Columbia Orchestra. When not teaching, Mrs. Aldrich enjoys spending time with her family, running, biking, swimming and playing with her cat, Whiskers.
